Journeyman Linemen – Southern Oregon
1884 Line Co. and subcontractors are seeking journeyman linemen to join our team for a critical wildfire hardening program in Southern Oregon.
This program spans 4,000 miles of overhead distribution and involves pole replacement and reconducting to tree wire to improve the region’s resilience against wildfires.

Location
This project is based in Southern Oregon, in close proximity to schools and shopping, along with a variety of accommodation options, including RV parks, hotels, motels and rental housing.
Project Duration
Work on this project is expected to last through the end of 2025.
Work Schedule
The standard schedule for this project is six days a week, with 10-hour shifts. Additional hours may be available depending on the project’s needs.
Pay Rate:
$64.17 per hour (current); $67.38 per hour effective February 1, 2025.
All overtime is paid at double time, offering substantial earning potential.
Daily Subsistence
Receive $100 per day worked to assist with daily expenses during the project.
